In partnership with the education and outreach department at The Smith Center, NBT presents the Story Time Program entitled, “Dancing In The Wings.” This special presentation features one NBT Teaching Artist in a 45-minute educational presentation based on the children’s book of the same name written by famed choreographer and dancer, Debbie Allen. While reading the book aloud, the Teaching Artist leads an interactive ballet class teaching students ballet positions and terminology. Since its inception, NBT’s Story Time Program has been presented to over 20,000 students.
